Rivers / Northwest Lower Peninsula
Jordan River
Fed by numerous springs and rarely above 60 F, with brook trout upstream and wild and lake-run browns, stocked rainbows, coho, Chinook and steelhead below. The Hex comes in July, two to three weeks behind the Au Sable and Manistee; Yellow Sallies and caddis patterns carry the summer. King salmon peak in September and coho run through November.
